Underwater
There are three oceans in the world. They are the Pacific Ocean, The Atlantic Ocean and the Arctic Ocean. There is more ocean than there is land. Some of the animals that live there are fish, sharks and whales. Some of the things you can use to explore the oceans are a submarine and a newt suit. To go deep down you need to have Your submarine pressurised or the water pressur will brake it. The deeper you go the more water pressure there is. Deep down in the ocean it is pitch black. . The Mariana trench is the deepest part of the ocean. The oceans are the last unexplored places on earth. Scientists explore the oceans to understand them better. They also go there to get oil, gas and fossil fuels. A ballast tank controlles a submarines bouyoncy. To get the submarine down the ballast tank fills up with water. The less air you have the more you will sink.
The waters surface to about 450 feet is the sunlight zone. By then the water pressure would be to much to stand. That means that it is light in the water. From 450 feet to about 3300 feet is the twilight zone. That means that it is hard to see. Things under the twilight zone usualy light up. The dark zone is 1300 feet down. The abyss is 13000 feet to about 20000 feet. The trenches are 20000 feet to 36200 feet. The trenches and the abyss are pitch black.
Here are some ways to explore the ocean. You can explore the ocean by using submarines. If you are diving you can use air tanks, scuba gear and aqua lungs. An aqua lung can get a diver down 75 meters.
One of the many new discovaries is the colossal squid. The colossal squid is pretty big. The scientists have also discovered new corral and new types of sponges. They can be used to treat human diseases. They have also found out that there is life in the volcao vents.
